- Stevens Mill – Stevens Mill has entertained a wide-variety of fans, both young and old, at more than 50 live performances in the Charlotte region over the past 5 years.
The band’s leader, veteran singer/songwriter and ex-rocker Rob Webster, has focused on his acoustic side over the past decade. His unique syncopations and signature licks have built a strong following in the Charlotte area. In 2005 Webster pulled together top local musicians including Master Fiddler Glen Alexander, Percussionist Bill Loelius, and Bassist, Bob Blickman, to form Stevens Mill. One might say that Stevens Mill has not been so much about “evolution” but rather “devolution”. - Southern Steel – Charlotte’s Premier Prog-Rock Party Band With a quick look into what makes the machine tick, you soon find a powerhouse of musical ability, dynamic performance, and the best live renditions of Classic, Southern, Progressive rock, as well as Pop, Dance, and Funk. Southern Steel is acclaimed for their vocal and stylistic versatility as well as their party atmosphere, high energy, humor laden shows.

- The Roadside Attraction Band – The Roadside Attraction Band is made up of seasoned musicians with a love for live music. Our lineup includes Rich on harp and guitar, Cary on guitar, Mark on drums, and Kenny on bass.

- Outta The Blue – Outta the Blue’s’ musician’s have 24 – 30 + years experience performing live in the US and world wide in various bands and playing a wide variety of music genres.
- The Bill Miller Band – With fiery lead guitar, smoldering vocals, wailing harmonica and a driving rhythm groove, The Bill Miller Band delivers a powerful, contemporary interpretation of vintage blues.
- Outta The Blue – ‘Outta the Blue’s’ musician’s have 24 – 30 + years experience performing live in the US and world wide in various bands and playing a wide variety of music genres.
- Alan Barrington – According to The Charlotte Observer, Barrington’s music is “introspective, sometimes delicate work, full of personal observations and emotional sketches.” The Observer adds that “Barrington offers very nicely crafted folk-pop along the lines of David Wilcox or Pierce Pettis.”
- Protocol – Charlotte Jazz Trio Making Their Skinnyz Debut Aug 29, 08.
- David Holtzclaw – David Holtzclaw is a singer/songwriter, guitarist, who has been a member of the Charlotte, NC musical community since 1990.
- Wally Germany – On Skinnyz: “THE place to go at in Matthews-Mint Hill area! With The Gulf Coast Theme and GREAT atmosphere Miss Jenni makes the place a “must be here” venue. Great music every weekend and it’s definitely one of my preferred places to perform.”
- Fat Cabbage – “We play all types of music. Currently we play a lot of covers but are working on more originals to add in. We play a lot of old R&B, funk, rock, blues,etc… like Aretha, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Etta James, BB King, Albert King, Susan Tedeschi, Johnny Cash, etc.”
- Short Notice – Guitar driven rock and blues band. Originals and covers done with high octane.
- Matt Walsh – “Soulful playing, great vocals…It’s great to hear young musicians playing in the tradition. That’s the only way the Blues will stay alive” – Paul Osher ( former Muddy Waters band member ) on Matt’s CD ‘ Goin’ Back South ‘.
- Closet Pop Junkies – An all acoustic cover/original band playing in the Carolina’s since 2000.
- The Next Exit Band – The Next Exit Band hails from Union County, NC. For the past five years they have been entertaining audiences with their hard driving rock, blues, country format.
- Rachel Garcia Band – The Rachel Garcia Band, based out of Charlotte, NC, plays some of the best music around town today. Our playlist varies from Sheryl Crow, Pink, No Doubt, Alanis Morissette, Melissa Etheridge, to the Stone Temple Pilots and more.
- Robin Rogers – “Listening to a lady sing the blues can be a spellbinding experience, particularly if she’s a natural. The intrinsic allure and soul-baring timbre in certain female voices lends extra zeal to these age-old ruminations. Robin Rogers is a full-scale natural.”
- The Roadside Prophets – The Roadside Prophets are Bryan Talbott and Jed Beck. Bryan Talbott plays acoustic guitar and sings original songs and covers by Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead, Todd Snider, Allman Bros., Kevn Kinney – Drivin’ N Cryin’, The Band, The Rolling Stones etc.
Jed Beck plays djimbe (African percussion instrument), mandolin, guitar, saxophone, sings,etc. Jed performs originals and covers by Ryan Adams, Beck, Radiohead, etc. Jed got his degree in music from Appalachian State as well as formerly working in a recording studio in Charlotte. - Joe Bennett – New Orleans is the home of Joe Bennett. His songs are fed by the energy of this town. He’s a troubadour of the tropics and his music is as diverse as the characters he sings about. From the rockin’, damn the torpedoes anthem “Live Now Pay Later”, to the infectious calypso party, “Jamaican Me Crazy”. From the instant classic, “Last Night I Dreamed of New Orleans”, to the epic masterpiece, “Fifty Dollar Treasure Map”, Pirates of the Vieux Carre is a voyage of adventure. Joe Bennett has lived these songs, so sign on for the cruise and you can live them for a while too!!
- Rum Punch Bandits – The Bandits have performed over 150 gigs throughout the Carolinas and Georgia and have opened for Jimmy Buffett the past three years at the Colonial Center in Columbia. We’ve performed at music festivals, weddings, and two grand openings for the Cheeseburger in Paradise Restaurant chain.
- Kevin Loop – Kevin Loop is a singer/songwriter in Charlotte, playing a wide variety of music, from Jimmy Buffett, the Grateful Dead, Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones and Van Morrison, all the way to Texas alt-country and the occasional Ramones song. With his first CD “Postcard from Home” recently released and a second one due soon, his original songs have a strong roots-Americana feel to round out his sound.
- Michael Wolf and a Side of Blues – A Side of Blues is one of Charlotte’s premier Blues Bands, entertaining club goers and music fans alike. They thrill audiences with exciting original songs and select covers of some of the greats in Blues.
- Tony and Mike – Tony and Mike are an acoustic guitar duo performing Rock, Blues, Classic Rock, R and B, and Americana. These two down home Carolina boys certainly deliver the goods!!
From Otis Redding to Jimi Hendrix, these guys have something for everyone. An excellent choice for your next party or event. - Dave Blanton – Best known for having co-founded the “nearly-infamous” Tuesday night open jam at Smokey Joe’s, and more recently heading up a revolving member ensemble referred to simply as The F.O.G. Project, Dave Blanton has been playing acoustic guitar and singing in and around the Charlotte area for over twelve years. From working in a number of joint efforts to solo shows all over the area to sitting in with a host of local and regional bands and musicians, Dave has developed a style of playing and singing that has been described by his peers as passionate, high-energy, percussive and emotionally forceful.
